I'm commander Thrudd in game but my real name is Sean. I'm a long time Elite player, in fact it's because of seeing the original Elite in the 80's that I even got into computing and ended up making a career of it. 
I've been meaning to join the group for a long time but been too busy working on the trade tool to play much. I've mainly played in solo but with the recent improvements to the game I've finally started having some success playing in private groups with friends. Thing is space feels a bit lonely and I'm not interested in PvP so this group's large numbers is exactly what I'm looking for. A chance to play with others cooperatively.
I'm currently based in Glasgow so if any of you fellow commanders are in the city feel free to drop me a message and we can meet up for a beer and a geeky chat about internet spaceships!
