Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hello, all. Just sent in the request to join the private group. Been around Elite since just a few days after release, playing off and on. I do a bit of everything, but find that I mostly do mining and mercenary work. So pretty much res sites and conflict zones. (Oddly enough I find A>B>A trading to be far too tedious to stomach for long, despite being content with mining.) Despite my 350 hours playing I'm not particularly attached to any systems or even factions (though I am thoroughly anti-Federation). I suppose my favorite Powers would be LYR, EM and ALD, mostly because they don't seem stupid or malevolent on the face of things. (I wouldn't be surprised if I missed some bit of lore on them, though.)

I've been a solo player all these years. My experiences in Open Play were... wanting. It's always been sparsely populated, and the very few times I saw other players they ignored me (even allied powerplay players from my brief time pledged to Aisling) or just destroyed me in what seemed a very one-sided fight with me not having a chance in hell of retreating, much less winning.

I always thought of myself as someone who enjoyed a good bit of PvP in just about any game, but my experiences in Open Play made me realize that I'm just not interested in PvP in this game at all. Still, solo play is very quiet, and I would enjoy joining a wing or even group sometime.
