Hi there, just requested to join MOBIUS and MOBIUS PVE (whats the difference actually?). I consider myself a pretty casual player. I owned the game since around when Horizons was announced, but so far I only played by "binging" for a week or so on it on two occasions, then completely stopping for months.

So because of the NMS hype I wanted to play a space game again, which made me come back to Elite. I participated in that recent CG that paid out huge amounts of money and now I can actually afford a decently outfitted ship. Currently I am a trader mostly (up to Broker by now) still flying a Type-6, but I want to go exploring eventually and plan to buy an Asp Explorer for that.

In principle I am ok with PvP. but there is open for that. I really like the idea of a group where I can relax and just play and interact with other people while not having to worry if someone is about to backstab me.

The difference in the groups is the time-zone. read page/join for details.

It would be great if you could cancel the request to the group of the timezone you are not in, as the max number of members for groups is limited to 20,000 and that is the reason for us having 2 groups.

Thanks for the heads up. I just cancelled my request for the MOBIUS PVE group. It may be interesting to play with people from the US too at some point in the future. Can I then be part of both groups? Or should I then cancel membership in one group and then request to join the other group?

If you can just join one group please that would be great, there is a hard cap on the number of people in a group, so if Commanders join more than one it reduces the opportunity for others to join.
