Hi there!
After oh so many years of waiting for that vaporware that was Elite 4, it's finally happening. I was so put off by the open world PvP bullcrap at first but this group just made the game for me, so thank you for that.
I've never played the original Elite, but have spent an unhealthy amount of time in Frontier and First Encounters (and still do thanks to JJFFE to be honest).
My commander name is also my real name. I saw no reason to hide how crappy I am at shooting things. You'll most likely find me far off mapping the stars though as that's what appeals to me the most.
I'll see you folks ingame (unless we spread out too much I guess)
