Greetings Commanders,

I'd like to introduce myself. Commander CrossTheRiver at your service. I was hoping to join this community as it would be nice to have a few more people in the galaxy without the worry of being spaced constantly. Recently returning to the game after a long break. I have filled out the form and requested in game to mobius pve.

Thanks for taking a look and fly safe commanders.

-Cross

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander CrossTheRiver.

Hey, I'm an old bounty hunter too. :) What ship do you prefer for hunting?

Feel free to add your name to one of our 'In game friends lists'

In game friends list for PC
Xbox EU and Xbox US

and check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already Image.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Finally, if you are interested in being involved, go here to see information about our player group faction, the Order of Mobius (based at Rafferty's Mobius station in the Azrael system). We have our own Order of Mobius Twitter feed.

Currently I am in a non-engineered FAS because back in my day we didn't have all these fancy engineered thingys =)
Probably going to move to a python and run missions for rep to get the corvette and do a bit of trading as well. Wish she were a faster ship but the jump range on the fdl is just not acceptable.

*hehmm*
Dirty drives.
Only need grade 3 which you can get from farseer.
She is probably one of the easiest and earliest unlocks to get and has by far the most useful set of mods.
And a python with dirty drives LVL 3 is almost as fast as an A rated cobra mk3.

Sounds like I have a new goal after the current cg finishes. Thanks for the tip.

If you pick up random bits and pieces on occasion, after a while you should have plenty of materials to level and make mods.

It's certainly gotten a lot easier now that they do not require the cargo materials and only use the ones out of your magic fanny pack.

With a good grade 5 FSD roll, you can get 20LY out of an FDL, like I did. Still wish it was longer, but that and the lack multirole ability is the price I pay to have a top-rate combat ship!

Engineering can really make up for some ships shortcomings!
