I was wondering how long it takes to get accepted into the group? It has been just about 24 hrs since I submitted my application and group request. Thanks in advance.

Oh, it's only been 24 hours?
Some of us have to work and/or live on the other side of the planet, you know.
The last form on the application pages says
"Our admin team will try to process your request is as quickly as possible.
Processing time can be up to 24/48 hours. (The staff are volunteer individuals)"
