Poll on the ED Forum to build a station in a nebula, seems to have some support from FD
Nebula StationSounds like a good thing to add our support to.

One of the loop constellations is good.
But personally I say aim large and go for the cats paw at around 5 or 6k out of the bubble....

I thought of the same thing: Going out a bit further than Pleiades or Barny's Loop. I think the Lagoon Nebula or the Omega Nebula would be a good spot because it has a crossroads function so to say. You can aim further for the Core, the Neutron Fields or go 'east' or 'west' along the inner spiral arms from there.
