Took my bonuses from both the just-finished bounty CGs and bought a shiny new FDL. Keeping the Clipper though.

I like this FDL. Small, quick, good handling, and very mean. The PA is weird to aim. Going to work on getting used to that. If it's not my thing, maybe I will switch to a fixed 3 beam laser on the lower hp.

I'd take the FDL up against anything I've seen... provided I don't have to be stuck on-mission for a long time without repair/reload/refuel. The way I have my Clipper outfitted, it's actually better for really long-haul bounty farms.

If I don't rank up before the Powerplay update, it will be nice to know how close I actually am.

Sitting in the arse end of nowhere waiting for a USS to show up with pirates in it. Can't cancel, it's a rank progression with only one star system named.

Seriously - if I get to four kills and a branch opens up that resets the counter, I'll be throwing this PC through the window. 25 minutes, and been getting a weak source every 5mins or so. I get the occasional Strong, but the last one I saw had eight vultures which killed me quick.

ive had this exact scenario only strong and weaks showing up, the strong uss had up to 7 tough ships, in the end I stayed with the strong and tried to draw fighters off which actually worked, when one open fires boost off and that one will follow but the others don't (in my experience!) then pick them off. Worth a try?!. Good luck.

Today is sort the fleet out day; moving all to one location and hoping its the right place or else get to do it all again once Power Play drops, downsizing and making ships more role specific, so should have 1 @ Trader, Combat, Explorer, Miner. Then more work required on combat rank.

That's the issue I had/am still faced with. Problem is, there is NOTHING near my chosen powers headquarters that gives me any incentive to move. Instead I think I will just freelance around the area I am in.
