One thing I like about the T7 is its momentum when you boost. Seems to carry its speed a lot longer than most. I was very boost happy in it. 4 pips to engines and 2 to shields. Boost Boost Boost, all the way home.

Glad the T-7 pays off for you. And yes, you have to dive in low into the "mail slot". You could basically fit brooms in your utility slots and dust off the slot's bottom with them

Boy... you got that right! Momentum is crazy in the T-7! It's taking a bit of getting used to for docking, and using vertical thrusters to get lined up with the mail slot too. It's like the Energizer bunny.... it keeps going and going and going.
