Could something like Teamspeak be set up for this purpose?

I like the idea of something audible in the game to indicate you have received a message though.

Have a look at the first post here about the group and you will find, we have teamspeak, even more than one!
Not everybody wants to chat while playing, though. So not all the pilots you meet will be in a teamspeak, and of course we will not force anybody to use it.

Some might even have more trouble to speak proper English as to enter the gate of a space station with an Anaconda

A group feature I would love to see is something like "where are my group fellows". Once in a while I see a member of this group passing by, but it would be nice to see where everyone is. And for text messages, instead of single player targeting, something like a "unicom" for group members as option. May be I should suggest this to Frontier.

I've seen a few commanders, but mostly by the time I get around to typing out a message, they are gone.

It's my biggest fear atm that I might accidentally shoot a fellow player.

So if I so shoot anyone due to too much red mist just blasting away at any red target without checking who it is... sorry!

Red Player radar indicators should only happen in battle zones anyway. At least in this group.
And I think FD will patch the problem, that a player turns red immediately after just one accidental hit in battle zones.
On other occasions Player indicators should always be yellow or green all the time.

I saw a couple of fellow cmdrs yesterday evening, in the Distress Beacon and High intensity locations around Erranin (sp), we had a good PVE experience popping the Federation ships.

Sorry did not say Hi to them, was a bit busy. So I'll say Hi here.
I was flying the Anaconda.. And true to Mobius ethics, no one PvP'd .. (we where on the same side, but I've had instances where that has happened, although in ALL group).

I was over that way too last night, and saw some hollow boxes, and there seemed quite a bit of activity going on. Ended up with a trip over to Freeport which is where I will be starting later tonight!

In all honesty, I've been playing solo until I joined this group. I figured I wanted to enjoy reliving the next installment of the most epic game of my childhood rather than worry about some troll blowing me up for the fun of it
