The beginning of a Voyage

So today i will be beginning a ludicrously long exploration trip in my A rated Asp Explorer (which meant selling my FDL, but im hoping the profits will make it more than worth it). The plan is to go for at least 3 months (probably more) exploring without stopping at any stations whatsoever while charting the galaxy of ED. Hopefully this goes well, wish me luck

Good luck! And can I just say... Avoid high gravity planets! I made that mistake and came in too hot - plenty of low g low risk planets - I was nearly 5k ly from sol - have fun

Seriously you would make far more just picking cargo cans off random planets and sell.

As great a quote as that is from a great person, I think elite's exploration is a lil bit closer to mapping stars and nebula... Probably because that's literally what it is

Much easier to make minor diversions to your route now since the route plotter saves your final destination system. So if you see an interesting star system close to your plotted route you can visit it without loosing your entire route as it will re-plot it back to your destination system. Also useful for avoiding systems you may deem too risky to drop into, like multiple star systems. Anyway fly safe and enjoy the sights.
