I'm a Lord! yes I know stiffle those giggles but I've been working up the Imperial ranks and have a summons to go to the local Imperial Navy system including earning my first permit. Proud, very proud!

Right now I'm enjoying my recently upgraded Asp with 4x forward firing beam lasers and 2x gimbaled auto-cannon. They will shred a Sidey in one pass and will take down a Viper with shields in two (well, maybe three). I really like the beam gouge marks on the hull, too (it really does a number on their fancy pirate paint jobs). I'm not much of a fighter - still mostly harmless - but when I get interdicted, I don't like to run.

Also, I gotta say point defense turrets are pretty awesome. I have one on top and one at the back. I've had Cobras flush multiple missile racks at me, either from behind or in front, and I've still never been hit (afaik).

Spent most of the time online being run around diff systems by the Feds......Upgrading my cobra in the process.....My rank has gone from "Chief Petty Officer" to "Lieutenant"......I got a permit for the Ross 128 system and one for the Vega system.....

Don't know if anyone knows but there's a rare in there called "Vega Slime weed" or sthg. Never come across one before and not sure what to do...As I bought 8...Because the rest of my cargo was taken with haulage and I thought I would fly back after the mission and get some more.....But when I got back it would not let me buy anymore even though it was available......

I was going to fill up and go back to my starting system 95Ly's away.....

I went back there anyway stored my Cobra and sold my Adder and bought a type 6......Just grinding again at the mo.....

One funny thing...I was playing in Solo today and I was interdicted by a knobhead in a Sidewinder......I battered him down to 6% hull and he bugged out.......Funny think was he had CMDR in front of his name...Wish I had taken a screenie now....Only caught it just before he jumped.....

If playing in Solo you should never get Interdicted by another CMDR, shouldn't be possible as in Solo it should just be you and NPC's.

But, the way the servers are playing up anythings possible I suppose.

It's no more than you deserve for siding with the Feds....

Trading rares in my 6, until I "think" I have enough to upgrade and take my cobra farther out and work on bounties and Empire faction. I have parked my 6 twice now, only to burn all my creds on cobra upgrades and go back to trading for insurance money lol ONE day I hope to upgrade to an Asp once my cobra stops eating all my cash. Cobra is a bad ass lil ship, and great fun after trading for days.

Much like what I'm doing at the moment.....Made about 555,000 and parked my type 6....Bought a sidey and went and got my Cobra....The type 6 with high value cargo and 2 pea shooters makes me nervous......

Anyway in my Cobra with gallium onboard...Travelling to a station...I look around the scanner and contacts as normal and see an eagle behind me......We are still about 600Ls from the station so I spin around to have a look......Yep he's expert and wanted.....

So I slow down and tail him........We get to about 16Ls from the station and he's slowing down....Ha I think he wants me to go past so he can get on my tail.....So I slow down......It ends in a Mexican standoff with both of us stopped and looking at each other.......In the end he moves toward me....I follow him past......Tail him and he flys away...Leaving me to go about my business in peace.....

I dropped all weapons on my 6, I did keep shields though. The lighter the better. It does make for some OH $%# moments when full of rares though lol.
