I don't think it goes down too drastically if you are trading in a high pop system or one that has a large demand of something. Obviously if the commodity is in the 100s of thousands or more it will take a bit, and I've only noticed my run to change from something like 2200 p/t round trip to more like 2000, because when something else "higher-end" adjust down to a normal level, there is usually another item that is back up or better.
