New Beta thoughts...

Well I use a docking comp so I can check on other stuff whilst docking....Let the comp take over and then check missions....bounties etc......Or go to the fridge and get another beer......This new incarnation seems 100% better on platforms......

Last night done a few community goal runs in the type 9.....Then went looking for trouble in the Viper.....And found it...BIG time with a capital ship.....It's really nice seeing what a fully fitted ship can do and not be afraid of losing it.......

Must say...Absolutely 120% love the Asp.....

Noticed you could also buy a Python for 100 Cr last night....Upgrading was well expensive though....I still bought one.....Would have been rude not to......

Each community run I'm doing takes about half an hour.....Coz one station is 110,000Ls from drop....Also lose money on the deal..But thought I would see what happens with bonuses etc.........Normally do a couple then get a bit bored and then try silly shit.....

I imagine the Python has been left at the full price so that the Beta forum does not get filled with loads more threads about how the nerf has ruined the stats of the only ship they want to use.

Personally, glad the Python is returning to what its role is supposed to be.

I'm going to give E: D a rest. Tired of pretending that this is a finished product. Bugs galore and still far from feature complete. This product is still at beta stage at best. Frustrating.

After 3-4 hours syncing files, then giving up and going to bed, I got the beta installed.

Tried a bunch of stupid stuff I'd never do in the real game, but now I know what happens.

After being interdicted 1 or 2 times in the last week, was interdicted 5 times in an hour.

Tried making a run for community goals. On way to station, interdicted by a Python commander. I was at 95% blue, but BAM! I somehow failed to evade. Python instantly opens up and destroys my Sidey - no warning - no nothing. I didn't even deploy hardpoints. People are assholes. I will never play open again. Period. If I can't play with a bunch of reasonable people, I'd rather go solo.

I hear you. I've been playing in open as well, and it's not something I'd recommend unless you're deep into PvP griefing. As you've seen, there's a crowd for that too.

I've been beta testing on Open just to get as much tested as possible, but yeah probably wouldn't go open if I don't have to. The Mobius group seems fine so far. Hopefully the hackers don't head over here.
