I have just bought myself a cutter as it is a better fit for what I am doing in game but should I want the vette at some point at least the hard work is done now
Also FDev is bound to nerf this before long so make it before they do.

I was going to mention the fact that FDev will probably nerf the SHIT out of 17 Draconis. It's why I devoted all available time to hitting rear admiral. Do it while you can people!!!!

I did the imperial the hard way but it was quite enjoyable. Used a python with 160 tonnes cargo and just took missions all over the place. Try to only choose medium or high reputation missions. I was about 30 lys out from Azrael and just went where ever the missions pointed my.
I guess there probably is a system similar to the fed one but I'm not aware of it.

I am continuing to utilize the tools available to expedite my Fed rank.

I probably won't achieve Rear Admiral before FD nurfs it, since.... well.... I have to go to work today. Damn RL getting in the way! At least I'll get as close to Rear Admiral as possible in the time that I have available, and finish my ranking up later in the week.

Only thing I can suggest is that you must ensure you only do Charity missions identified for the FEDs and not the independants...
