Hi all, newcomer and in the PVE group.
- No real easy win for Aussies.

Currently -->
Australia time - 9am Tuesday 5th April
London UK time - Midnight 5th April
US - California - 4:07 pm Monday, 4 April
US - Washington DC - 7:05 pm - Monday, 4 April

So therefore, with Aussie Play time example of 9pm until midnight (approx)
Other timezone times are either weee hours of the morning, or middle of the school\work day
London UK time - 12 (Lunch\Noon) Tue 5th April
US - California - 4:00 AM Tue 5 April
US - Washington DC - 7:00 AM -Tue, 5 April

So far.. best chance I can figure out is for me to play on a Sunday early evening, say 4pm - 12 midnight - meaning it will be around 7 am until about 3pm Sunday in the UK.... any other day conflicts with sleep, work or family... so ... essentially 1 day a week for any chance of a solid block of play time with other mobius players online AND its UK \ Mobius group not the US \ Mobius PVE group?

Am I right? Suggestions on the best 'group' to be in for some chance of winging up for Aussies - greatly appreciated!

I have no suggestions, since the switch, I have seen MAYBE 3 people aside from one particular long time friend. I went to the US group.
Honestly, our odds were never good, even before the split. Now that the all nighters from the US are in a different group than the dailies of the UK, we just wont see anyone.

Like DruiD, I am also a newcomer to the PvE world. I kept away from the world of MMOs specifically because I hated the whole idea of Griefers or as I called them, PKs (Player Killers). Also, like DruiD, I'm here in Australia. I've ended up in the Mobius PVE group and have yet to see another player. As I've just started an early retirement I tend to be on throughout the day and evening. Was that the wrong group to choose for my times?

On another note, I've tried to wing with a friend of mine on the west coast of the US without success. We can see each other's wing beacons but not each other, nor do we see the same opponents. Anyone else have this problem/found a workaround or solution?

If you play during the day in Australia, you should be catching the evening USA players. Playing in the evening in Australia would align more with the daytime UK players. I would recommend staying in Mobius PvE if you play mostly during the day, and switching to Mobius group (and leaving Mobius PvE afterwards) if you play primarily in the evening.

I've experienced the instancing issue you described a few times recently. If you both go into supercruise and drop back into the RES, station, etc, that should clear it up. If not, one of both of you may need to jump to a neighboring system then back into the desired system, to get the instancing set correctly.

Thanks John, Yes Aussie night time player 5/7 days so have requested access to Mobius (UK) and once granted will drop Mobius PVE (US). Thanks for the assistance.

Thanks for the info, I'll try it out this weekend when my friend is on and let you know how it works. From trawling Google it appears to be an issue us in Oz suffer from more than elsewhere.
