Guys, keep an eye out for weird bbs mission givers. I just took a mission from "Brosnan Landing Chief Medical Officer". That's the first time I saw that, and I've done TONS of missions out of Brosnan. Dunno what's up, but there it is. They just asked for Agri-meds.

Just did a mission today, hauling scrap to Scirthe. Got reputation gain with the Empire faction there, but the one at Kugay isn't increasing anymore.

What I do is look at where the blue bar ends with respect to the words below it that have the arrows by them.

Check where, like is it right above the "u" or "s" in "economic bust" or whatever. Remember about where it is. After you do a few missions and come back to the system and turn them in, you'll see the bar moved. I wish FD would change that so it's easier to tell, but that's a wish.

I have found you wont see it shift after each mission but it does eventually go up. Keep plugging away

That should put them in civil war. I'll check, but it also may show "civil war critical" and pop tomorrow.

I also need to check HIP. There should be a war there now.

The Influence screen in the right-hand panel is updated once per day, although not always at the same time. I imagine that the status bar shown when you complete a mission is based on those same stats, so is unlikely to alter during your playing session.

First part yes, second part no.

Updates to the right pane status (faction influence in the system) are once per day, some time around 2 or 3 a.m. EST.

But I can see the blue bar on the mission completion screen move further right after completing missions. For example, if I complete 3 missions in a row, the blue bar stays put. But the next time I get back to the station and complete a mission, the bar has moved a small amount to the right. I've done a ton of missions, and that's what I've seen.

You may not notice it if you just do 2 or 3 missions a day. I do more like 10 or 15, sometimes more.

Still no civil war in HIP or Kugay. Both are above 70%.

edit: Ok guys, based on some info from people on the main forums, I submitted a ticket for both systems. They should both be in civil war.

FD is probably pretty busy with 1.3 right now, so I dunno how soon anything will happen.

Feel free to start working on Scirth (Scirth Creative Services). For Scirth though, we will have to wait 3 days after the current civil war ends before ours will start. But we will be ready.
