Just found out Carbon Stars can be bloody huge, jumped into a system and this monster Star was 124 ls away, my screen was as full as my pants nearly were lol.

Fly to VY Canis Majoris! Looks like a normal, fairly large star until you realize that you drop out of supercruise more than 5,000 Ls away...

I'm about a third of the way to Sag A, and thinking of turning back. So long in the void just charting systems is really making my teeth grind. I'm really missing civilization right now!!!!

I got a little bored with tradin' and shootin' so decided to go splorin'. My ship is currently about 1500ls away from inhabited space.
Two things have only just occurred to me.
1) My Asp I call "The Yellow Shark". I forgot to put a yellow paint job on it before leaving the last station I was at. So much for nice memento screenshots
2) One of the CG's has finished and there's 9 million credits (I think) waiting for me to pick up.

Now wondering whether to cut the trip short and head home for money and spray paint.
