found out the hard way that Anacondas now like to ram you. in fact i found out three times before i changed my tactics a little. thankfully ramming involves getting close to the target, and you really don't want an angry Vulture just a few metres away from you

I also saw this a few minutes ago while out and about bounty hunting. I was tracking a Cobra, happened to pitch up and see the nose of his wingman's Anaconda about to me jammed into my flight deck. Thankfully, I didn't do much except knock me down one shield ring and they hadn't started shooting yet.

Wonder what this was all about. He wasn't doing anything either.

Edit: Maybe there's something else I'm missing. Went back to this system and he was still there, trying to contact me. My current mission at the moment is to just kill off pirates in this sector.

how did you manage to find him? every time i've had those kind of messages, there's been no ships anywhere on my radar. nothing in contacts, either.

You can jump into their FSD wake when they say that. Not sure if it's related to these NPCs, but after I jumped into a strong signal source, I got jumped by around a dozen Vultures.

Scrambling around to sell all my old ships and upgrades as I want to not leave old ships in space controlled by a specific power now after Powerplay is out. And I might just have enough to get an Anaconda today

I've had a few rammers as well, seems to be a new tactic by NPCs in a variety of different ships, all of them came of worse

I had a sidewinder ram my cobra earlier. If his plan was to kill himself i'd say it worked pretty well. Didn't even take a whole ring of my shields.

testing out the new 1.3 bounty system. i took a Pilot's Federation mission to assassinate some egocentric rock star, so now i have to stand in the naughty corner for 5 days.

in retrospect i'm not sure of the wisdom of doing it; i've effectively locked myself out of my most popular mission target system for that time. may as well find somewhere else to lurk for a while.
