Scrambling around to sell all my old ships and upgrades as I want to not leave old ships in space controlled by a specific power now after Powerplay is out. And I might just have enough to get an Anaconda today

Well until they fix the bugs you won't be able to afford to fly it. My Anaconda is sitting in a hanger gathering dust.

RES Zones - mostly emply/dead.
CZ Zones - all harmless/novice.
Missions only pay 10% of what they state as rewards.

testing out the new 1.3 bounty system. i took a Pilot's Federation mission to assassinate some egocentric rock star, so now i have to stand in the naughty corner for 5 days.

in retrospect i'm not sure of the wisdom of doing it; i've effectively locked myself out of my most popular mission target system for that time. may as well find somewhere else to lurk for a while.

Don't poop where you eat. (aka: Don't take missions or hunt in your home system) otherwise know as "Don't bring your Work Home"

Second rule of Power Play 1.3:

Don't shoot till you see the Whites of their Eyes (aka: Kill Warrant Scanner says COMPLETE) and the Red of the WANTED on the Hud

Third Rule of Power Play 1.3:

Things never work properly for the first week or two after a patch this large

Did you check the timer under the transaction tab to see what it says? It may not be a little hit you gave them, and registered as more. People are complaining all over Reddit and the Forums.

You have to jump to another system when the timer has passed 10 mins, going into supercruise in the same system won't clear it.

Never seen a timer there. But I'll double check next time.

Closest I've come to losing the Vulture yet, in a drean res with lots of clippers/pythons/ds spawning ran into a master clipper, well armed and a strong fighter escort, managed to kill them all but before the clipper died he managed to ram me with no sheilds.... made it back and cashed in 2.5m worth of bounties.
