Yes, the hands move with stick and throttle inputs. There is no wrist movement (that I could see, anyway) for yaw input though.

Got a bug where someone interdicted me when my ship was about to enter hyperspace. After jumping, I brought the guy with me and we both tore the main sequence star a new hole. Killed the sonofabitch afterwards for trying to damage my hull via interdict bug.

Did my first kill mission, with the help of my Bro in his vulture. Cobra, vulture as wing men and python target... that was hard...

Hmm... if both ships are decently fitted it shouldn't be a big problem unless the Python pilot is a high-rank. You get the vulture to open the fight and get some threat because of the bigger shields, and then you both just target Python's power plant. After the shields drop - just let it rip and you should destroy it with at least 20-30% of its hull left

The minimum you need. Hmmm. A rated FSD or your not going anywhere. A rated Power plant or your not shooting things. At least C shields. And the best thrusters you can afford. And the biggest guns you can afford.

Mine has A rated shields, power plant, thrusters, FSD and power distributor. D rated life support and sensors. 2 shield boosters, chaff, and KWS. And 2 large pulses. Cost is about 12.5.

It is a power hungry bird. Set cargo hatch, FSD and anything else to level 3 or you will be dead in the water when you deploy guns.

Could be that they are testing them, I saw the 'Onion Head' paint job on a few NPC ships before it was released in the store. Having never seen a single Anaconda NPC with a paint job in game before this, this could be a good sign for the 'conda pilots out there.
