I kinda have the same experience at stations. people seem too preoccupied to reply.
Bumping into other CMDRs in RES/conflictzones seems to usually trigger a response though.

Only gripe ive got with winging is the bounty doesn't scale up,
and when you can take condas solo... wheres the incentive. :')

Trading in convoy apparently has trading bond bonusses (+5% for anyone you bring along),
but that system seems broken as fuq, because half the time it wont acknowledge a wing..

Yeah, I agree completely. How does the repartition work, now, for players who kill a NPC without being in a wing? Wouldn't it be more lucrative to work in teams but without forming wings?

Frankly I dont think theres any point to it, other than giving weaker ships a chance to share the winnings. It basically cuts the bounty to the top 4 of damage dealt per ship if you are in a wing. Without the wing the spoils go to the biggest hitter I think.

I think the way a wing should work is it should have a joint bankaccount, whenever someone joins or leaves, the current bounty bonds should get cut equally among the members of the wing at that time, plus a bonus for every wing member you have on you, say +100%. That way even with just 2 people in the wing, you are making as much as just playing solo. The real incentive is to form wings larger than 2, because that could potentially double your spoils.

I aggree. But then, I am winging for the fun of it, so the loss is okay -- but a higher reward would be very appreciated of course. Or more dangerous NPC wings where coordinated action really does make the difference.

The Ai had serious trouble with communications and Wing Invites anyway, but it was still strange.

Thanks man! Yeah, I seem to have some trouble with Coms as well, this may be the bug with the Coms and Wings P2P. I can usually connect to COMS with a number of folks I usually play with, but other times it fails to connect, even in chat. We are all pretty familiar with the trouble Wings is giving everyone...

I will keep an eye out for you in stations and keep my COMS available for review when I hear the ding! Perhaps we could schedule a trade wing, or BH session. I am usually BH RES with CMDR Fah-Q a few times a week on Weekdays, and Weekends too. I can also be found late night Pacific Standard Time trading the usual group routes. I am usually always in the Mobius Teamspeak channels as well!

As for the trade Wing, I am always in for an Escort mission. As for teamspeak, I am still lacking a mike, though I hjave registered on the Mobius TS channel.
Playing time is sometimes a week for a couple of hours, atm usually after 8 pm and/or after 11 pm till max. 1 am.

Don't think so - spoils go to the last hitter of the first critical system to get down to 0%.

So if I do 98% damage to power plant, and someone sneaks in and does 2% damage to it, they get the kill. (This has happened to me - on Mobius too!)

If someone takes out the power plant while I'm still pummeling the hull, they get the kill even if I'm still damaging the hull.

I normally throw out a "Hi" if I see other Mobius players out there as I enter a system. I'm a bit of a loner when I play, preferring to do my own thing be it missions, trading or simply exploring, so I'd always decline an invite to "wing". I like it when I bump into another Mobius group member after seeing NPCs for so long.

Anyone still out there? Seems like coms is totally broken lately, and folks in TS are only interested in Solo play...so I am kinda at a loss on why people even play in PVE or Mobius at all.

More and more it seems that this is a solo game, and perhaps I belong in Open. At least that way I can PVP and get some interaction with other players. The AI is pathetically represented and poses no challange. Even in a small ship, such as the Viper the Anaconda poses no challange.
