Sad too see a "swan" go.

Had a clipper for a short while and I just felt elegant flying it, kinda felt wrong dumping into a res. Dodging dirty rocks and getting shot at by hooligans.

and as soon as I get another 40-50 mil I'm buying one again, maybe set it up for exploration.
So far the Python feels more like a real work horse, like a cross between a heavy duty army truck and an SUV.
The ferdie was more like a track day car, beautiful in its way but not practical.

Had an excellent time with de Carabas and Ozzy. Even met Jockgit yesterday, briefly.

Well CMDR de Carabas' Annie is an impressive beast. Even more impressive how it gets swarmed in a RES when having corruption reports on board :)

CMDR Jockgit.

i sold 'Tiny' the T-9. the money she earned didn't counterbalance the feeling of having my life force sucked out of me on every trip, plodding along like a hippo swimming in jelly. i bought 2 more Vultures to celebrate the occasion, and left them at Founder's World just in case. you know, just in case they ran out of Vultures.

still got money to burn, i need to waste it on something else. the only ships i haven't tried yet are the T-7 and Driftship... hmm, no. some things are best left un-tasted.

@clivewil

Clippers are always fun.
Can also recommend the imperial courier, very nice and cosy feel to it with the circular cockpit and , very fast while still being very manoeuvrable and a A class fit is just around 10 mil.

i've already had a few Clippers, but they're really not my thing unfortunately. i do have a Courier stashed at my home base, though

Buying more skin packs. As I am trying trading at the moment, the Asp was a bit slow with just 104T, so sold it for an Imperial Clipper. 216T and can still take out NPCs.
Now a bright yellow one. Marvellous machine.
Ranked to Viscount yesterday, today got a Fed rank up mission saying it was for Chief Petty Officer (was already Ensign) - did it and got Lieutenant. Very strange.
Work now, so will have to check in later to see where I ended up while helping cure the DEBILITATING DISEASE DEVASTATING BD-02 4304. Only 2 loads in the Clipper got me to top 70. Then scoop my way back 'home'

Picked up a "kill 6 pirates" mission from my home system just to try my new Python in combat. Pulled a few imperial couriers out of supercruise and killed them under a few seconds. Just as I was about to scan for more wanted ships, a USS spawned and I decided to drop into it...

Now, this has to be the game's way of replying to my nagging about bad spawns the other day... but when i dropped into that USS I immediately froze. There was 3 Anacondas and 2 Pythons EACH with 2 Vultures in their wing.

I've never pressed the FSD charge button faster in my life

Oh... did i mention all of them were deadly/elite?
