What am I doing right now? Getting blown the hell up. Just lost 4 mil. I think I'm going to take a break from combat, and try to recoup that loss in trading.

you were probably in the wrong instance. i can't believe i never even noticed it after all this time - a while ago i virtually lived in a CZ for almost an entire week - but it finally clicked the other day. i thought the CZ instances were dynamic and always changing their nature over time, but they are not.

in a CZ you can get an instance where your guys are generally winning, or neutral, or losing - if you find yourself popping SCBs early on in the round, reset the instance because you'll probably be under the gun for the rest of it until you either die or retire with no ammo

if on the other hand you find almost every enemy you target has already take a bit of damage to shields and/or hull by the time you get there, stay in that instance as long as you can - chances are you'll finish the round because you want a pee or a coffee rather than because your ship is damaged

in the losing instance, i typically make about 600k before needing to return home and fill up. in the winning instance i'll make 3 - 4mil and could still keep going almost indefinitely if i wished.

Never thought about that Clivewil. Makes perfect sense though. I reset RES instances all the time to get the "good" spawns, it would seem to be the same idea for the CZ.

I just arrived in Dakshmandi for the CG there. Friend me or look for me there hunting down the enemy of the Empire. Still have yet to get into a wing and I'm itchin' to give it a go!

It occurred three times yesterday and once the night before. While I was fighting the dawn in Maausk, everybody turned red and suddenly I was fighting even CMDRs. Retracted hardpoints and boosted/SC the hell out.

After refueling I want back and everything was fine but after 30 mins it happened again...

One CMDR said it happened to him also. Anybody else had this problem?

I've had a similar issue a couple of times when in a wing. Suddenly everything out there went 'enemy'. When one of the wing members jumped out it went back to normal. I assumed (probably wrongly) that the CMDR had hit someone on 'our' side and pissed off both teams.

the usual advice to this issue was that somehow a stray shot had been fired and hit one of your own guys, but in my case i was on the edge of the CZ, stationary and hands-off, well out of range, while waiting for my shields to recharge. it happened all by itself.

I was making a million or more credits per sortie for the last few days, and only had to bug out once or twice due to damage, but always managed to escape with my life. With at least one other commander in there, I was mostly only leaving when I wanted a break. On my own? Not so much.

I can make 1.5 mil in a Vulture before I have to bug out due to being swarmed/overwhelmed. Granted lately they've been picking up on me sooner and sooner.
