Had little time to play last night as we had company and I could not sneak away for long periods of time. So for fun I took a Sidewinder and fitted a Rail Gun and Seekers and headed to the Nav Beacon. Didn't even bother with a KWS. I looked around a bit, chose a ship and started popping Rail Shots into it till the shields dropped(2-3 shots max as I had NPC help), then seekers and maybe another rail and collect money. In about a half hour of hoots and hollers I managed to pull about a million in bounties and had a blast. I needed the practice with fixed weapons and this is a cheap way for me to do it.

A full re-arm was about 3k, so its not too bad and a hell of a lot of fun. And best of all, most NPC's seem to ignore sidewinders even if we are pulling all the aggro.

That actually sounds like a fun idea. Might have to try that out.

It's always been clear that I suck with fixed weps, but it's taken the new 1.4 chaff-spamming NPCs to remind me...

Then send abusive comms to Dawg because there will be no progression missions.....

Then back to Riff Raffs to have a beer and sell the Rares/Exploration data/Wife/Cat....

Not going back to Tun......Got 79T of rares onboard and about 1/2 mill worth of exploration data.....Too much to risk.....

Finally got the naval mission I was waiting for. Killed the bad guy in a conda, and now I’m Chief Petty Officer and I can finally go and buy that FAS I’ve been wanting to try. Except…
