Sure and that's why, as in real life, I'll ask around for tips and advice before blowing most of my savings on some kit for my wheels!

My jump range btw is around 7.5ly which is why this trip is so daunting

ok I would not recommend it yet, 12 LY min would be the target I think, try to do hauling missions or find a trade route in eravete.

at moment in eravate try taking from cleve hub to ackerman market (domestic appliances and from ackerman to cleve (natural fabrics), see what the profit is like, how much cargo space u have?

Kohl Terminal (Bauxite) to Volungu (Jemison refinery) yield about 7k profit on a 40 cargo run.
Jemison to Chowei (Swiggart Port) Aluminium yields about 8 k. (11 LY)
Swiggart back to Jemison (Food Cartridges) yields about 5 k.

Like showing up at a station with a cargohold overflowing with tonnes of gold, and discovering that the station isn't buying it at a price that nets you a profit. -_-

I did shop it around and finally sell it at a profit, though... Just took a little while. lol

Currently flying a Viper up in Yembo. Came for the community event - I was hoping to find players in the area who were mining/trading and to serve as protection in Extraction Zones. I've nabbed nearly 300k CR in bounties since I hit the system - its crawling with pirates. Yet to see Commanders in the vicinity, but hope to.

Also considering a Type 6 for some trade runs. Just hit the 1.2mil CR threshold this weekend, and I desperately want to be ready when the Fer de Lance hits with 1.2, and one day for a Python. So, considering that, though I do much prefer combat and exploration to trade runs.

Day 21 - Cleve Hub in Eravate system.
Same as usual... Met Cmdr -Spyder- and Cmdr Hengest
Strange things happened tonight :
- was interdicted by an NPC Federal Dropship, first time no chance to boost away, he stole half of my Tantalum cargo and let me go with 1% left... (cost only 1.6K to repair the Hauler, but lost 36 K cargo value)
- hunting at Nav Beacon with the Eagle, a wanted Viper NPC opened fire on me right away, although I had no cargo, no hardpoints out, and I am friendly or neutral with all factions inside the system - had to jump out and come back later
- still at Nav Beacon, an NPC clean Cobra kept scanning me and ramming me at high speed, forcing me to jump out.

Stored the Asp, hopped back in my Cobra decked out for Federation Navy duty and now I'm sitting at Matteucci Terminal cashing in on some war bonds for the good ole Federation. It's good to have a military outlet when life in the Alliance gets boring.

Day 22 - Cleve Hub in Eravate System
A couple of Hauler trading and missions runs.
Just to see what it's like, replaced on the Eagle the two fixed Multicannons by two gimballed Cannons. No regrets, at short range (under 1km, preferably 500m) these things do some damage ! Got me 100K bounties in 1 hour, incl. a Python stolen from the Cops (had to be patient for this one as the fight lasted a while...)
Met Cmdr Procyon outside Cleve Hub but he jumped away...
Another evening like this one and I have my 1.3 M Cobra Mk III !

Have me Imperial Clipper and now off into Federation Space to grind a few credits there. Next mission is to grind a few credits to have enough for a Python or the Fer De Lance or the Fed Dropship. Clipper is good but am missing the ability to park up at any place, still have the Chrome Cobra for when i fancy a change of scenery.

Well last night just did a bit of grinding and a bit of combat when I got bored....Interdictions were weird again....I was interdicted by a friendly faction member who opened up on me......More fool him...But at least it made a change from the past...All I was getting interdicted by was clippers and pythons.....

Anyway I thought this looked nice......
