Sadly I prob wont be there as after a little escapade yesterday with a few twats I ended up with a 6d bounty on my head in Azrael....

There is a whole galaxy of bars outside of azrael you know..
And the planets in azrael are quite boring, low grav ice world's are more annoying than fun. Some rocky/metallic 1-1.5g planets on the other hand are the ones you can really do stupid stuff on and why I never go anywhere with just a single buggy.

Having had a quick read through the two guides I'll certainly give Mining a go over the couple of weeks.

I notice that you still have the Python pretty well spec'd to be able to give a bite. Is this because you mine in Combat RES?

I presume it's possible to mine in any ring, not just a RES as long at the ring has the right type of Asteroids?

Glad to help.

You could probably C rate most everything, but watch the power for shields and mining lasers. I never mined in a RES. I always just drop into a spot toward the inner part of the ring and mine. Darn near every time that I drop out of SC at the ring, a NPC would magically show up. So.... be ready for that. Once you get past the first ship, it's pretty rare to see more. (Pre Horizons, anyway)

I also mined in a Clipper. I just prefer the Python because.... well.... it's a Python.... and it can carry more cargo, weapons, limpets, and well.... it's a Python.

You need to be very selective on the rings that you mine. Pristine metallic are the best and most profitable. I PM'ed you more details.

Not good not good...... Make sure you do all your chores and asking if she needs anything else before playing... That works .... sometimes
