Have fun, fly safe. o7

Yep great afternoons fun, thanks for that Sir. Great to see so many different Cmdr's in there, winged with so many last few days.

Can't believe I have not got involved in this fun until now.

Been trying to get Alliance to allied status for a while now.. Friendly 76% at the moment. Anyone know a station that offers donate missions or something to get the Alliance rep up so I can start to "level" Empire?
I play on PC, in the Mobius PVE Eurasia group.

Finally got my Anaconda, but much to my chagrin, I'm still trying to get a handle on how to fly the thing. I want to apologize to a CMDR whose name I didn't catch while leaving Titius Station in Cemiess tonight. I got stuck trying to squeeze out of the mail slot and was seconds away from being blasted by the station for loitering when I just managed to scrape through in the nick of time. I was in a hurry to leave after making an idiot of myself, and only made things worse by boosting into oncoming traffic, grazing the CMDR on the way out. I'm terribly sorry about that. I apologized in local chat, but I don't know if they received the message. I still feel awful about it. :(

Where's the STUDENT DRIVER - KEEP AWAY 500M paint job that "special" Conda pilots like me need??

I did get booped on the snoot by another Anaconda last night, but I'm pretty sure it was an NPC, and while it may have been Cemiess, it wasn't that station. No damage though, either way.

I'm finding with the Anaconda, I can be making a perfectly reasonable exit from a station, and the cops will pull some ridiculous turn to come around and scan me, then they smash into me, and I am the one who gets fined for reckless flying! Just the man trying to keep me down, and waste my time with 100cr fines!

Switched back to the Python tonight so I could run some fed missions to outposts, now that my Anaconda has brought in some decent trading credits so I don't have to worry about coming up short on insurance after buying it. After flying the Anaconda for a few nights, the Python feels like an Eagle! I'll probably park the Starship Danger Noodle in another day or so to start making trading money again.

Spent some time Jumping Ravines in the buggy last night. There will be pics coming at some point of me not only jumping, but back-flipping and landing over the ravine.

Unfortunately my cameraman was in another window checking pics and did not catch the "Earth Shattering KaBOOM!". I got cocky thinking I had already landed one, so I would go for another. I nosed into the lip of the other side and exploded. And upon returning managed to get pics of Me jumping my own Buggy Carcass.

And people laughed at my Clipper with 5 Buggies. HA!

Since the last major update, NPCs sometimes have issues where they either bug out and spin in place during combat or boost straight into you while performing a scan. I can usually avoid head-on collisions in a smaller ship, but the Conda's sheer size makes it an easier (unintentional) target for clumsy NPCs to fly into. Just today I had at least 3 incidents of the police bouncing off my shields and handing me tickets as I was leaving a station. (Then again, I am the inept Conda pilot-in-training we're talking about here, so maybe they're trying to tell me something. :P) Strangely enough, they didn't smack into me once on the way in. I suppose the fines are just the station's way of thanking me for my patronage?

It is however mildly infuriating each time it happens. I've come to accept the fact that I'll have to pay a fine on my way back and let them crash into me, though I can't say all the ramming hasn't made me start bracing myself for impact every time I hear those engines whizzing by at top speed.

@Loriath
Now that's reckless flying! Sounds awesome. Gotta see that pic of you jumping over your past self! :D

Was going down to a crater last night, gravity was low and wall fairly steep.
So naturally the buggy goes airborne a few times, no problem just boost a bit between touching down and all things should be smooth right? .

Occasionally landed a little hard taking a hull point off or two but suddenly i touch down no harder than the other 15 times and kaboom.

I'm Contemplating bringing more buggies on the DW.
