I didn't bother doing the rank missions at draconis, I just went there in a hauler and when i got a rank up I hopped back to my moer competent python, the taxi hauler makes the trip in less than 10 minutes anyways.
And you get more and simpler rank up missions in the bubble.

I did most rank ups as either courier missions with an assassination thrown in for good measure :p

I would not do Draconis again either. It is just way too boring. Once I get Alliance to allied, I get to work with the Empire ranks, and plan to do that the intended way and not by sitting in the station. Well at least I have now "experienced" the Draconis ranking system.

Well that's the rub I did it the old way for Baron.
And that took two months for the last two ranks..
And that was only to Baron.

I see allot posts about charity missions and the sort at various locations for the Federation, such as Tun and Now Draconis 17. Are there similar locations to rank up for the Imperial Navy as well?

There have been a few stations in the past for them on the Imperial side, but for the most part they all got hit with the nerf stick. I am hearing mixed reviews on if Liabeze is still viable, though even if it is there is no comparing it to what is available in Fed space.

Bounty Trading between Turir and Jera, like I will for another 6-9 seasons worth of SG-1. 35% Tycoon and Novice now. Still 2% Duke.

I went to Tamar and worked on Empire ranking. When I started I was 72% into Squire for the Empire. I did 3 charity missions, 3 deliver data, 1 smuggling run and 3 cargo runs and got to 98%, Then I ran fortifications to HIP 16607 and then went on a killing spree in Karudji where my current bounty is a tad over 200,000. If I reactivate all of my dormant bounties I am worth about 1,000,000

Viscount - Earl was mainly around Cemeiss, doing delivery missions. Would take one at each station and go wherever they took me, and if the chain stopped, went back to the start and tried again.

Tamar and Liabeze was not good for me.

Then LTT 911 (Jokester station) with a mix of Fed and some Imp missions, and some charity donations for both (mainly Fed)

Earl - Duke was Cubeo, mainly Weaver station. Charity + 80-100 LY deliveries

The ranking does get harder. By the end, you could do 3 simple deliveries and only get 1% increase.

Still not worked out what missions are better. Data delivery and charity the best.
While some say smuggling missions, they pay well, but you gave to be good at it...

Found a trade fitted Asp to be the best all round mission runner.

Still in the shiny new phase, and relief the grind is over. But back to trading to earn enough to finish fitting out.

I forgot I purchased the Conda and modules in LYR space with the 20% discount, so did not get as much as I hoped. Was trying to keep the shell, but not flying this one without enough rebuys.

Trade setup at the moment, 720T cargo is great.
