Just finished a great Haz-RES session with Scruffy Nerdherder and Auloria.

It was a pleasure working with you two again tonight!

Although... the pirates probably have a different perspective on the evening's activities.

Headed to 17 Draconis last night in my Anaconda, after seeing an orbis station, and knowing I'd be able to make it in 10 or 15 less jumps than my python.

Still a huge mistake.

I was expecting the old 2 dozen donation "missions" on the board, where that would have worked fine... food delivery and shadow delivery missions are not what I had in mind.

I at least managed to do some light trading (the market seems to suck since Tuesday. Is it just me?) in Federation space, and have actually had some luck running missions with the Anaconda there. Finding that surface landings at ports without a docking computer take a lot longer than in a star port, and that this ship handles very differently from a python on planets. I've also been making huge money in Fed space on bounties from pirates when I let them interdict me... starting to think the empire just has better cops, as I seem to be able to go a few hours without any "That's the ship I'm looking for..." messages, let alone interdictions in empire space, even with 5 million credits of imperial slaves or 400 tons of gold on board.

At 94% Entrepreneur on trading, and 80% Lieutenant in the Fed Navy. So close it hurts.

Signed up for the "ONION HEAD APPEAL" community goal with a friend last night. Did a couple of runs in our ASPs and some good laughs entering the station with full throttle, him because he was distracted and me because he distracted me by doing so and I underestimated how slow the ASP is to brake. Was quite fun!

Did a couple of runs in our ASPs and some good laughs entering the station with full throttle, him because he has distracted and me because he distracted me by doing so and I underestimated how slow the ASP is to brake. Was quite fun!

Tip of the day... (if you don't already know) deploy landing gear and cargo scoop, and full throttle reverse engines to slow that baby down. She'll stop in about 2 days that way.... instead of 4.

I always throttle to 0, hit T2 and T4 on my X52, and then request to dock. Otherwise, my Cutter is a drifting pig on ice.

Hit 50% into Entrepeneur, long way to go to Tycoon (never mind Elite). Used my refitted Python to trade between two ports with a nice profit. Not a very fast run, but the credits are good. Wasn't the only one doing it either as I saw another CMDR do the exact same run. Had to defend my cargo a couple of times from attacks, including a fight just outside the station's no-fire-zone, which brought in some nice 'free' credits. At least the attacks were from decently equipped ships and not sidewinders trying to take down a Python with two plasma accelerators as part of its armament.
Thought about having a look in the Exioce CZ with my Fer-de-Lance, but it was getting kind of late.

Well I know someone that was a bit irked by getting hit by a defence turret.....

Which took his ship shields down and then proceeded to batter his hull......

He was also slightly pissed when he was waiting for us at a POI to come in and despatch a sentry and I just flew in and rammed it.....

Said it looked good though.......

I was not pissed at the Sentry. Was waiting to share the bounty. But that defence turret was mean as hell. I had 2 shield boosters and it ripped me down to 61% hull, so yeah, that happened.

Yes another night flying with idiots......

Ohh and you can scoop canisters off a planet in your ship.......I would advise this be done on a non undulating surface though....

Apparently my cargo scoop was digging a trench.......

It was cool, and the cargo scoop just clips through. And yes to the Idiots part. As if people need to be told for the 6 millionth time.

If you see or saw a Black Imperial Cutter, that was me. I remember spotting a python along my route, and thought it a very odd place for that ship. Then again, I skipped the python and went straight to the T9 instead, so I dunno what the normal python route is, besides smuggling.

49% more to go 'til Elite. I've got to stop getting distracted by Anime.. or I'll never finish.

Last time I saw a Cutter was on a trade route to Corin. Last night though I noticed that Corin didn't want any of my trade, their demand was literally 0. I do like the look of the Cutter, nice looking ship.
