I'm at the Leonard Nimoy Station following a lead that will hopefully give some additional clues to the kidnapping of Jack Dunhill. Last clue was a bust but these guys here tell me that he was possibly taken by two Felicia Winters' agents for interrogation and that his ship was confiscated by a rogue federation faction.

Might as well follow the lead, I'll take anything at this point. There's also a nice new RES at the planet this station is orbiting, the beta changed it into a sparse ice RES.

Let me know if you find anything, i heard that beer and snacks could work as ransom payment...


But seriously, i have been really busy with work. I will try to log some game hours this week.

Been grinding at the Aerial CNB during the weekend, only exception when I went for some merits for ALD. I switched from the my Corvette to my FDL for the merit hunting but that ship didn't work very well at the CNB so I decided to retrofit my old Anaconda as a warship again and took her out. So far, it's the ship with the fastest kill rate at this location, made it to 80% deadly before I stopped. I estimate I'll hit the rank of Elite before this week ends. Then, there only thing left is exploration, but that's something I'll do with the rest of group gathering for that purpose!

After some advice from here, I did a few Robigo runs. And , yes, it is true, the AI cheats. I never had a simple "don't be scanned" mission failed before. Yesterday I got four...

I managed to throw off a multitude of attempted interdictions, where a System Authority Vessel in a bloody ANARCHY system tried to scan me, by high jumping while playing the interdiction mini game, when the same (?) ship interdicted me immediately after exiting the high jump sequence, in which case I had to kill it, when it was a Viper or take the f... scan when it was an Anaconda or die when trying to face said Anaconda.

I had a case when a pirate in a FAS plasma shot me in the face twice while ramming me instantly head on twice, again, despite my FA off down boost...

I had a case when I was scanned just before entering the station. The scan started <500m from the slot going full speed after a final boost and ended while I was in the middle of the station, trying to brake as much as possible before I splattered my python on the far end of it ... Multiple failed missions on-screen messages was the result... And 40% hull damage on top of it...

After the fourth failed attempt, I regretfully admit, I opened the bloody Task Manager ...

Thanks. I am wondering why don't you use LRS missions? They are ones which don't fail even if you are scanned, the difference being that the cargoes are larger (more than 60 tons) and the time limit is 1,5 hours. You can take three of them in a Python with a 5 mill pay each...

you should know I only have a total of only 11 runs now with 2 total fails and one failed on my last stop, so I am no pro.

I take my Cobra III, A rated, huge A fuel scoop and extra tank or 2, with 16 to 20t cargo space get 3 or 4 missions, good ones.

Scooping, put you ass real close to a star then face away from the star and stop yep stop and watch them drop out of SC into the sun
next on your missions once you are in the final system and get interdicted buy the police, submit, boost, boost boost, and jump out of the system, then come back I have never had to do this more than 2 times, YMMV!

In a Cobra III with my rank the best I have done is 15 mil, normally around 10mil.

Mostly have fun, and that is why I like this even at 1/2 the rewards it would still be fun.
