Decided to roll the dice and get the Python out of storage for order missions. However, as I was already unhappy with the heat production of the three large beams before the 2.1 upgrade: Any station near Azrael that has large multicannons?

I just took the Courier out into the low- and high-RES sites for the CG. It's not exactly combat-ready, so for the first hour or so I tagged along behind the cops and they backed me up. When I went to the high site I got a bit braver and started taking down Clippers and Federal ships (which usually give me a tonne of trouble even in more combat-capable ships).

Hour and a half work for 1.5M, not too bad considering how little effort I put in. That was also somehow enough to get me into the top 50%, so if I don't drop a rank before it ends (likely overnight for me, it's a few minutes to midnight now) I'm probably looking at a nice 10M bonus.

The plan is to pick up my bonus here tomorrow and finish the last few upgrades on my Clipper, then I'll head out for some exploration until the next interesting CGs start. It's pretty much ready to go, I just didn't really want to risk going out with only slightly more than the insurance cost just in case. I've never been out of the Bubble before, to be honest I'm a little nervous.

Let me ask everyone: What is the LARGEST POI you have come across?

My answer: 8.13km square. 11.4km diagonal. And we found nothing but a few canisters, and a ship that wanted to take our cargo, which dropped his when he died.

Strolled back out to The Dweller, over charged the large pulse on the vette and upgraded the weapons capacitor, both only level 1 but seems to be effective. Left forgetting to pin the level 2 blueprint (doh), but going too hang around the general area and get some of the stuff I need.

Can't quite figure out the threat levels on signal sources, I've had level 2s that are one Adder, and level 2s that are three Anacondas.

Need to spend more time planet side getting scans.

Talking about doing scans: Go into a conflict zone, do not pick a side, but simply hang around and do passive scans of the ships in the CZ for all those data packets.
