I just spent some quality time with the Vette in a High-RES. My fIrst time since the latest patch.

I had a GREAT time! Great mix of ships and combat ranks. Several Pythons, Condas, and the occasional Clipper and FAS. Mostly dangerous and deadly rank with some elites sprinkled in.

I didn't get rammed once, which was a pleasant surprise. I was able to come fairly close to keeping up with the NPC's maneuvers with FA off and 4 pips to engines, and didn't get frustrated or irritated at all. (unlike other RES sessions since 2.1) I killed several FDL's from Master to Elite, with great bounties. The highest one being this guy:

I am VERY happy with the NPC changes. Very reminiscent of pre-2.1, but with a bit more challenge. For the first time since Engineers dropped, I felt like my Vette was a killing machine again and I had fun in the RES!

Time to get the combat ships out again, guys!

I can second those findings of JL, treated myself to a Vette. Had one a while ago but it didn't do much for me however now there are actually viable choices for class 4 weapons I thought I would give it another go.

So once outfitted I headed back to the Greater Azrael Area and stopped off at Dvorsi and ventured into the Hi-Res there. Great mix of ships, netted approx 3 million in about 30 mins of pew pew. I did however get rammed by a few ships, FAS and Vultures but my shields held and they just broke up on impact so they did me a favour

It was an enjoyable experience once again and quite a good earner.

Hello,
Was at the CZ last night resting out my new C4G Multis on my Corvette. Simply awesome. The NPCs seemed to have toned down a bit but I think someone for got to send the Elite Pythons and Deadly Vultures a memo.
Now trying to rank up with Tod McQuinn now, having decided that the Order does not need my help currently. Seems the only bounty he accepts is for those issued by Wolf 397.
