Two things:

1. Just lost the Vulture. In a hi res, an Elite Vulture was attacking a Master Python. I scanned them both and the took out the PP on the Python. Then I turned my attention to the Vulture. He was at 12% with his shields down. I line him up and start blasting. He drops to 4% and then nothing, and then his shields are back, then he starts shooting me and my shields are gone, followed quickly by the hull. Wtf? How did he spend minutes barely scratching a Python and then kill me in seconds?

2. This image is from yesterday. It shows the second I get interdicted, but the ship still does not show up on my scanners. Is this because I have shitty sensors in the power starved Vulture? If I had A-rated sensors, would I have seen the ship before he tried interdicting me? Or is this just more bullshit from FD? This happens most interdictions for me.

Did some pirate missions, made around 12m, changed the effect on the huge beams to thermal vent since apparently thermal shock is only useful in PvP and has been nerfed, can fire those beams now for long spells without getting constant heat damage. Escorted a friend who has been out exploring safely back to a station.

went over to two systems that are next to eachother, converted conda to 400ton cargo(removed fueltank, srv and scoop) Can now make just over a million in one 'loop'

Are you carrying any cargo? It's easy to forget, since it transfers from ship to ship now.

So, noted 2.1.03 is out, and logged on for the first time in almost a month.

And now I can honestly say ... the BS is over! The BS is over! Yes! No more consistent Dangerous/Deadly/Elite (D/D/E) interdictions with FDLs and FGSes and the like. Trying to combat the ships is still unchanged, but that I don't mind. It was the constant gauntlet of ships that was interdicting me on any mining or trading run, if I survived 1-2, I never could the 2nd or 3rd before I could get to the station. And I can now escape too. Who hoo!

The Python is still nerf'd, dogfighting-wise. But at least I'm not getting ripped apart constantly in it. I also did a little combat in a Vulture. And now I'm back in an Asp, and now just run. Dang the 6 manueuver rating of an Asp v. Python is no contest at all, the Python deservers a 3 or 4, max, in comparison to the Asp with a 6. Of course I'm exploring again, instead of mining and trading. But still, I can actually escape again. And no more gauntlets of D/D/E.

Oh, looks like all my 40M+ in insurance claims was credited back.

I continued exploring with the CNE the past week. In the mean time I faced a problem with the throttle of my Saitek X52 and had to dismantle it and remove the small components that make it stick at 25% and 75% power.

Yesterday I passed my evaluation drill with the Fuel Rats and I am now an officially registered Fuel Rat!

BTW if you die in an SRV do the material/data you have collected BEFORE you enter the SRV disappear?
