Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

had the wife say that she thinks the current logo looks like an alto towers advert. and she may have a point.
with that bombshell I thought I would play with the logo, still very much a work in progress but would like some feedback if you feel its needed.

Yes, much classier. I would not let the cobra white though. Looks flat. I mean takes away dimenson somehow.
And it stands out form the rest too much as if out of place.
My worthless 2 cents, having never even tried to do something like that. But you said feedback.

I like them both but prefer the old one and not at all like an Alton Towers advert.

Really the old one is very original and striking, which I have thought several times.

I agree with Wolf. I prefer where the new one is going, but I think the white cobra is a bit too much.

I kind of like the current logo.

I like the quote.
I like multiple ships signaling unity.
I like the idea of leaving the white one open to put your nations flag in if you so desire.

Not sure I understand the omega 8. But I actually like that it leaves me pondering a bit.

I do love explosions though. Not sure where that would fit in.

More reference to the Elite universe maybe? The logo, as you suggest in the work in progress, or maybe the lovely spaceport that we already have in our banner?

Some of your sigs are very dramatic. I love drama! And explosion. Did I mention that?...

I think I prefer the new logo. If the cobra trails can be made to look vaporous like the ones in game, with perhaps a top down view of an actual cobra, I think that might assuage peoples dislike of the white version.

Although, having looked at it properly, I do like the moebius strip in the original 'suggesting' the shape of a ship at the top. Then again, as it has a ship on the new one, perhaps that isn't necessary.

So, in summary. Ignore me.

You don’t know the Mobius Strip? It has interesting properties that make it a good symbol for infinity (for example if you could walk on its surface you’d eventually end up at your starting point after having walked both sides of it). Also it looks like ∞ which is the mathematical symbol for infinity. And obviously, it has “Mobius" in its name.
