Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Hi, returning player. I put an application in to join the Asia Pacific PG about a week ago. I realise that with a group this size the admins have their hands full so in the meantime I logged into the old Mobius PG to see if there were still any people using it. Docking up for the CG I saw a couple of CMDRs in local and exchanged greetings with them. The next day whilst docked I noticed a lot of the local chat was about PVP. I wasnt sure if this was just happenstance or if the old Mobius PG was now unrestricted or at least unregulated. I asked the local chat but didnt get a response, possibly because I am a stranger but I remain curious - Is the Mobius PG a relatively safe place to fly? Do many PvE focussed players stil use it?

If by 'old Mobius PG' you mean the original Mobius/Mobius PVE groups they are no longer maintained. Mobius PVE EURASIA and Mobius PVE AMERICA is where you need to be.

We do not allow PvP chatter on our official platforms (like this or our Discord) but I can imagine people talking about PvP in 'space'. Though actually doing any PvP is still strictly prohibited in our PG's.

So to conclude, is Mobius still a safe haven, yes. We are and still are stricly PvE and do not allow PvP. And this is still enforced.

I put the form in a bit over a week ago, I was wondering how long it would take to be able to join PVE EURASIA? At the moment MOBIUS is the only option I have.

There's is no exact timing I'm afraid. It's all done by one man and real life happens too. Usually though roughly every 3 - 4 weeks but no guarantee on that.

Yeah a lot of 'system' messages you see in game are from all instances: open, solo, private. People love to air dirty laundry or bragging rights.
