Anyone else noticed that things just don't sound the same as before since the last update?

I have been flying the Cobra for a good while now, but it now seems to have propellors from a Cesna on it when before there used to be a deep grumble noise related to low speeds.

There are a few other things that just don't sound the same though I can't put my finger on exactly what it is.

I've been getting nightmares from the hyperspace sounds, it's just eerie. Nothing friendly about my FriendshipDrive now.

There is a major thread about this on the official forums on how they've downgraded some of the sounds, but it has received attention by FDev and Michael B. so he's asked people to ticket any sound issues they are experiences or differences that they notice that are worse after 1.1 so they can research it and fix where appropriate. So I'd say just ticket anything sound related even explaining your feelings on the new Cobra sounds.

It sounds like the background noises are louder than the ship sounds. At least that's my impression.

This is what I was going to say. My Cobra hardly makes a sound, compared to the in-station announcements and such. Actually almost went deaf, cranking my volume to hear my Cobra, and then the station starts talking to me SUPER LOUD. Ow.

Yep, my Cobra has gone quiet, but the T6 braking thruster things now sound amazing.

The 'quiet lift' bug was supposedly fixed in the last hotfix/patch, but it's still super-quiet for me. Coming into stations in supercruise gets strangely... super-quiet near planets sometimes, too.
