Dying

When it comes down to it, I don't really mind getting killed, whether by an NPC, or by another CMDR in mutual PVP (or even crashing). I mean, I now have the credits to more than cover insurance costs and possible lost cargo. Sure, it will always suck to die, but you just come back and pick up where you left off. And I sure don't mind killing wanted NPCs. If they are pirating at an RES or interdict me, they are space dust. I'm a little more selective at nav beacons, because I don't want to kill someone over a parking fine. And when it comes to killing another CMDR in a conflict zone, I probably won't even bat an eyelash. Hey, it's either I get you or you get me. But if I feel I'm totally outclassing my opponent, either because of a better ship & weapons because I've been playing longer, or maybe I'm just better (don't snigger - it's possible), then I think I'll try to remember to let them go with a few percent hull remaining. Maybe I'll have the favor returned some day.

Now, as to those guys that griefed me in open play ...

I agree. There is a difference between combat and seal clubbing.

The good thing is that you don't get killed, you just spend some Credits for insurance... ;)

All well and good in a Sidey, but when you have Pythons and above slugging it out, the insurance is in the millions.
