Ever See One of These?

I've been to almost 1400 systems and I've only seen one of these.
The only thing more rare for me is a pristine ring - never seen one.

Time to show my ignorance - what's a pristine ring?

It is part of the classification of rings and belts that can be mined. "Pristine" is the richest (means it only has been exploited a little or not at all). At the other end of the spectrum, you have "depleted", and several others in between, like "rich", "common", etc.

I've seen plenty of brown dwarves with rings, better still are T-Tauri stars with rings. If you want to find a pristine ring just venture outside of the human occupied areas and all rings will be pristine.

T-Tauris with rings?!? now that has to be a cool sight if they are in the primordial state.

Personally I've seen brown dwarfs with rings in Fed space, but nothing quite like that.

This whole thread has been oddly civilised despite the content...
