Lost and Found: Bhaguti, LFT 926, LHS 317...

Lost:
somewhere around this general vicinity - LHS 317, LFT 926, Shinrarta Dezhra, Eme, Bhaguti, etc. - there was a couple of systems with active conflict zones, but i have been unable to find them again. does anyone recall seeing some around here somewhere? i.e. within about 35Ly or less is preferable
Found:
an unusual RES in Bhaguti, on Bhaguti 3. it is flat-on to the sun, so there's no nightfall and suddenly finding yourself in the dark. there's also a few of the rocks which were closer to each other than i've seen in other RESs (my ship took some damage getting crushed between two of them) - and finally, my first entrance to this place was welcomed by a bunch of Clippers. i haven't seen it again since but it was odd having 3 Clippers onto me the second i arrived
the station, Mondeh Holdings, is an outpost 900Ls away from the RES but the system's still worth a look if you're in the area and need some fast cash.

What is RES?

RES is a Resource Extraction Site.
It's an area where NPC's mine in the rings of a planet. You go in and find wanted ships that come to prey on the miners and get to take them out.
If you want to try it, you should get a KWS - Kill Warrant Scanner so you can get higher bounties. A ship may show wanted, and have a local bounty, but with the KWS, you get to find out all their bounties. So the big guy with a 4K local bounty might end up giving you a lot more if you KWS scan them.

Silly me died for the first time inside a RES last night. My own fault pick a dark one and boost into a rock. At least I never saw it coming, so was a quick end. Should have claimed the rewards earlier but no just one more, got greedy.
I will check Bhaguti RES out Loriath. Sunshine one would seem a better option.

That made me laugh.

Unlucky, though!

during my tour of the area trying to find combat zones, i found several more systems with RESs in. i didn't visit any of them, merely screenshotted them so i could find them later - but it does mean they were all close enough to the main star to be visible in the list, i.e. less than 1000Ls away. i'll post their names soon

Deneb Algedi has one of the nicest RES I have found - in sunshine and grey/white asteroids for those of us with a fear of dark rocks

Nearest station to the RES site at the rings is:
Burke Port
Independent Democracy Refinery/Extraction
Distance From Jump In: 240ls
Services: Blackmarket, Commodities Market, Outfitting, Shipyard, Repairs
Installation Type: Coriolis Starport
Landing Pads: Small, Medium, Large
2 res sites - Planetary rings - 0.2ls
One thing to note is that the station is BETWEEN the rings and the planet so if your canopy is breached it's often quicker to head to one of the outposts to repair - Fadlan Refinery is only 231ls away.
There are 3 more RES sites in the system but I never bothered with them lol

ok i found a Conflict Zone in Codorain, of all places - but there's no conflict, just a huge mass of ships doing circuits - and i can't select a faction to join either.
is this a bug or an 'undocumented feature' that i am unaware of?
i also found out i could do basic surface scans without a scanner. odd.

I've found conflict zones like that a few times, always assumed it's either a bug or one side has killed all the other side.
