Only 2 tiers so I doubt it will last that long.

Oh joy, another Empire CG.
I'll be happy when they have an Empire CG that the Imperial dick swinging squad completes in two days... only to have FD flip the system to independent for shits and giggles... like they did to the Feds in Lugh.
Moral of the story I'm soooooo tired of FD dumping all over the Feds in-game and in Galnet and fluffing the Empire 24/7.
It wouldn't be so bad if Empire RP wasn't so appallingly irritating, I but want to jump through the internet cables and punch everyone that mentions "Basking in the Emperor's Warm Afterglow" or whatever. Ugh.

lol, with a galaxy so large there should be multiple CGs in all parts of the inhabited galaxy every day.

Both in and out of character I cannot ever support an authoritarian dictatorship. Window dressing about honor and basking in the benevolent gaze of a comatose (is he still in the coma or did he recover?) lecherous geriatric does not cover up the fact that it is an authoritarian patronage state where any benefit conferred on the citizens is only through blind loyalty to strongmen.
That is not benevolence or freedom, it's servitude.
Both in and out of character I just don't get it.

I have no real care as to what the empire stands for, it gave me a home when I was being persecuted by the feds for a few simple mistakes. I started in Fed space in my sidewinder, accidentlly shot (not destroyed) a fed security ship a few times at various nav-points, picked up some cargo floating around here and there, and after a week into game was classed as "Hostile". Everywhere I went in fed space I was attacked, so moved over to the Empire and never looked back. I have since restored my reputation with the bureaucratic numpties and been touring around Sol but back now in the good old Empire.

Must admit I was going to have nothing to do with the Empire. Federation for me.
However I have been doing the Empire CG's 2 in so far and I am Allied to them already. Only friendly to the Feds and I have done Tons of missions. Warrant Officer still.
Did my first Empire rank now Outsider who is Allied.
So I will be in BV for a spot of Pew Pew.
