Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

I must defend the Empire, yet I fear that Patreus is hiding something.

The Federation must not be allowed to swing the power in this system to a puppet arm of the corrupted government that the Federation represents.

Patreus is, as of this moment, still a Senator, and as an Imperial Citizen, I must heed the call. I support my Emperor, and the Senate but I am still torn.

The accusations that have been levelled at Emperors Grace are dire. Are we harbouring assassins in our midst? Is an Imperial Senator involved? Or is it all a ruse, a red herring to cover the tracks of a more sinister plot that lurks within?

Has the Princesses investigation uncovered truths or tricks? We need to know.

Until then I must answer the call of the Empire and keep the Federation from gaining a foothold deep inside our borders.

But I fear what I do not know. I am torn...

Check out the Blood Serpents thread. More about that there. Personally, I dont fear Fed influence growing by setting back that shiny Senator a bit. And if they try, it is just a good exercise for our guns.

I fully support the Empire and the Senate, but Patreus has done a few things that I find to be highly repugnant and I won't be supporting him at all. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the assassination attempt was carried out with his full knowledge of the act, he accuses Princess Lavigny of furthering her position towards the throne when all she did was launch an investigation that uncovered the insidious perpetrators that carried out an attempted assassination against His Imperial Majesty. I find his accusations against the Princess to be a handful of sand thrown in the faces of the Imperial citizenry to keep them from remembering that, while Lavigny and others launched an investigation to protect our Emperor, Patreus essentially did nothing and I find his loyalty to the Emperor and Empire suspect. Also he has treated several systems very dishonorably which doesn't sit well with me at all as an Imperial citizen. Patreus is the snake hiding in the beautiful green garden of the Empire, his first strike failed and has made us aware of the dangers and depravity that he is capable of and, mark my words, he will strike again.

Now we wait to see the Senator has to say about the rather short campaign in Quivira. He will probably claim he defeated them personally.

I am starting to despise him personally.
