Hello cmdrs,

I have been farming in a RES in Zaonce due to the CG there this week. The station Ridley Scott has reward those who fight for fight the piracy in the system with cr and a discount for the Faulcon DeLacy ships...

I was about to buy the Python when I found out that in that station they sell only Sidewinder and Anaconda of Faulcon DeLacy

so I set the sails for the nearest system with a Python and sadly I found myself with the full price of the ships... so I have to assume that the 16% discount it`s available only in Ridley Scott station ?? ... Or maybe only for the faction systems ( Alliance ) ??

As I have 14 days to use the discount I would like to find out as for the python the discount is about 10 milion cr...

Someone knows something about ?

Just completed this one of us is miss reading the rewards. I cannot check now completed the mission.

I thought it was for the Fer-de-Lance. I bought my ASP with a discount on a pervious CG and had the discount at the Ship Yard.

Want a Python too but was going to settle for the Fer-de-Lance but looks like I will not get either. Not got the capitol to afford one.


The Asp I did get at the CG Ship Yard. So not certain not a great help here.

Python is in Stock at discounted price in Ridley Scott now.

It will take time to outfit anyway, now begin the hunt for the A grade modules.

I am reading with interest also the evolution of Quivira, although it's a little far maybe I'll try to reach it.

The CG at this stage are better that any other activity in the game to make thr player feel himself part of the universe in my view.

I love to read Galnet about everything and follow the evoluevolution of the events.

We'll see how that will fit in 1.3

Going to see about getting my Python at the end of the week, maybe even next week before the discount ends, and first build up enough credits with my current Vulture to hopefully
a) keep it AND buy the python, or
b) have enough credits to re-buy a stock python when I inevitably get wasted by an eagle on my first trip out

You will need 85/90 mil to have a base Combat loadout.

I also consider the discount in this balance.

With this expense my Pyth work very well, I hust had a couple of hours of fun in some res and clipper and fds pop without aim the pp in a matter of seconds... the drawback is that coming from a Vulture you will feel at the start to fly a limping elephant

Overall it`s really good anyway, plenty of firepower with a D powerplant.

Pitching in painful.... it takes ages... but again.. I come from a Vulture so.

Mind you this is before any discounts but this will give you an idea of what it's going to cost you for a mostly C-rated version.

And for those thinking to get one at the discounted price to sell it elsewhere at full price: don't.

The price at which you'll be able to sell it will always be below the price you paid for it.

This is completely illogical, but apparently it's the way FD chose to prevent people from exploiting the game mechanics, instead of limiting the number of ships you can buy in a given period of time or at a given sale.

In the weekend i plan to put the military grade alloy and A frame shift drive...

I forgot the interdictor i will buy one asap... even thought I never pull out wanted from cruise, i usually go in Res.
