Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Earlier this week CMDR Seantier were honored with the Empire Title of Earl for his outstanding service record in the Imperial Navy. Not much is known about our latest Earl, but he has been seen delivering humanitarian aid in several systems. Latest helping out Princess Lavigny-Duval with her humanitarian aid in the Persephone system. Other, more dubious sources, hints of a more darker background for Earl Seantier. Going so far to say that our newest Earl is in fact a Federation Post Commander set to spy on our Navy forces. The Earl him self were not available for comments regarding this matter as he was last seen preparing his ship for an expedition into Alliance space.

PS: It would be nice to see a list, as in Weekly announcement or so, of CMDR reaching the top navy rank - they all worked hard for it.

I may have to send them My Earldom news as well Made it earlier this week.

Would be nice if they did. I wonder if they do, if Radio Sidewinder will pick it up as well. I will be listening for it.

Congrats to both of you, but if all rank progressions appeared in GalNet, the signal to noise ratio would be so unbalanced we'd probably never see any other news (unless of course they were compiled in a weekly list like you suggested, but then who would read it?).

How about a "Mobius Galnet" sub forum - I know there is a members news and announcement section, but posts to a group version could be written in a "Galnet" style .... just a thought.

Meh...delivering 2t of pills isn't all that hard. Neither is 'kill x pirates in system y', you know, like we do for ordinary bb missions 10 times a day.

I was hoping they'd release some new, higher ranks with PP, especially with the revamped mission system. It's so easy to rank up (disregarding the mysterious random number gen deciding when it pops), I think there are tons of people already at top rank with both factions.

To sum up, I think they should have held back on the ranks until the mission system was reworked.

I agree. I found that ranking up was ridiculously easy and pretty much completely meaningless.

On the contrary, the ranking up with CMDR club ranks seems to have stuck somehow ... stuck at Expert for ages.

"Mobnet"... hmm... has an interesting, ambiguous ring to it...

Think they are talking about the naval ranks, not the Combat rank.
