You were a lovely ship, and I'll re-build you soon.

But for now... I need to name my new money-maker...

Red will be back in short time believe me. My python is back and as good as ever and now has Annie as a hanger mate as well. Best of both worlds :)

I'll have to decide in the next few days how impressed I am...and whether or not I want to go back to my old ship : )

Well... after a day of testing, I'm buying my Python back : P

Are you still going to use the Anaconda for something else though? I'm kind of in the same situation as you, just a few steps backwards. Might as well take a few pointers. :D

I think what it boils down to is that I just have so much -fun- flying the Python. It is also a bit more versatile. I actually quite missed not being able to land on outposts, as it threw off my whole "trade groove". The necessity of landing on a large pad, for me, was not worth the extra 130T of cargo space (I'm sure I coulda stretched it more, but still.)

I had a very hard time aiming the Class 4 hardpoint on the Anaconda, inasmuch that it was almost useless to me, with my average piloting skills. The nose of the craft gets in the way of a lot of things, and I was dubious about how much deck I would be staring at from the get-go. It's just a bit too big for me...

I guess the short answer to your question is, while there may be things I could do in an Anaconda that would make me slightly more money than doing them in the Python, I found all of those things more enjoyable in the Python. Trading, Hunting, Traveling... My flying experience in the 'Conda was just ...less...than scooting around in Red.

I'm glad to have her back. I'll leave the big boy flying to the big boys.

Ah noted, ty for the info. Felt the same way at first when I departed from the Vulture to a Python and thought it was a huge clinker brick with a crappy set of space paddles, until the latter taught me some other stuff in flying - something I would prefer learning NOT because I'm forced to pilot it. :P

I suppose I'll get an Anaconda anyway, just without trading in my main ship this time; I'd rather just take it nice and slow at this point.

It will be nice to see Red back in the RES, but your conda was certainly effective! :)

Yep that's what I'm aiming for......

Tried the FDL...Python and Conda in last cross platform beta.......

Did not like the Conda one little bit....Just could not get on with it......

I'm not playing at the mo....Waiting till next beta to see what the diamond back and courier are like and what powerplay brings.....

Once I see what all that is about I'll return to my normal game and grind on......
