THEY removed the Independents subforum from the Faction and Powers section.
Independents may be resistant to regimentation, contrary, non-aligned and who show their independence by not posting, but they might take some comfort in being recognised by having their own section - somewhere - to which they could contribute should they ever feel so organised.
Any chance of it being restored?

Let me shed some light on the matter 
They did not remove the forum, they renamed it. It was empty. Nobody used it. It is now the General Power Play Discussion forum.
And as "independant" is neither a faction nor a Power, there is no place for it the Factions and Powers Category.
The independants tend to use the forums by occupation much more anyway. So in fact, they have 7 forums to choose.
