Friend Requests

Hi all,
Just a quick question, I have a friend request from someone called STUF. Now, I do not know this chap (none of my RL friends play ED) so am not going to add him yet, just wondering if Commander Stuf is on here or not?!

I think, though I may be wrong, that if you go to Groups menu at the start of he game before going online, you can select Mobius group and scroll down to see the members of that group. I'm sure that's what I did to confirm a friend request. Anyway, hope that helps.
I'm new to online gaming so I may be corrected on this.
