Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Am I the only person who has pages of unclaimed bounties under transactions because I got them passing through systems and struggle to be bothered to go back and get them all?

Clearly I risk losing the lot if my ship gets taken out and I have a lot of dead entries but does it impact my combat rank by not claiming the bounties?

Combat rank is based on kills whether or not you submit bounties or combat bonds. Your rank is recalculated after each and every kill; however, you may or may not see a percentage increase (rank progression is based on your rank vs opponent rank)

Many have had the same problem with cluttered micro bounty claims due to random interdictions in pass thru systems and not bothering to dock for such a paltry claim. When I flew the Clipper, this problem was one of my greatest annoyances since it can't land in many systems even if I wanted claim bounties.

The only solution I found is to board a suicide sidewinder and ... <static><transmission ended>

Nope, I got loads of these as well, and I'm at the point of almost being tempted to commit suicide in a sidey just to clear them up.

OCD getting the best of you bud ?

I use an exploration fitted asp to cash them in after a while. No point in letting well earned credits go to waste.

I've said before, you should be able to sell them to a "collector", or a bank, or on the black market, for 25% or 50% of face value. This would add a little bit of the depth that the game is missing.

This is exactly what I do. It comes handy when you need to pick up fed/ally bounties that are far away

Completely agree. Was this raised as a request on the main forum?
