Elite: Dangerous PvE - Mobius

Anyone else have an issue with this weeks powerplay merit rewards or have I missed somehting?

I racked up over 1500 merits last week but only received a salary of 500,000?

Edit : sorry didn't explain myself very well. I didn't make a note of the exact figures but I carried over something like 350 merits from the previous week and earned approx 1300 merits last week

You receive rank benefits after one week. That 500k reward was from your previous tier. If you are tier 4 this week you'll recieve 5M in the next PP cycle.

If you achieve tier 5 during this week you STILL get 5M. By the next cycle you'll receive 50M and so on.

Likewise if you drop a tier by next cycle you receive benefits from your last weeks tier.

TL;DR you must spend a week in a given tier to get said tier benefits
