Before setting off to make my fortune in the far reaches of the known universe, I had a quick shuftie at the Azeban City bulletin board.
Loads of combat missions there these days - and well paid, too.
But look at the two I've outlined:
First job:
second job:
So - accept both. Go and do da bizz and it's a cool 70,925cr in your pocket, for downing just 1 ship!

Can't see the whole image for some reason.
I accepted one of these and spent a good 30 minutes looking for the bugger. Any advice on how you should actually find the target?

Well, I didn't risk it, as I've not been able to get my lasers to fire. But I read that you are given clues where to find him after you accept the mission. No idea if that's correct.
In Firefox, to view the full image just right-click and select the top option - "View Image"

He's a "Named" NPC: if i get right, named NPC are tougher than other pirates npc, as usual for other MMO.
For example, I've found Mistral yesterday (Arcturus system): he's (or her) only "Mostly Harmless", but he's on a Cobra MKIII with 3 "friends" hidden (silent running i presume).
I ran away from them with 20% hull, 'cause they attack you like a wolfpack: one on your target, three on your six.
i guess that FD has created this kind of mission to be completed in team, when team/parties between players will be implemented (this phrase is translated with google
)

You need to watch some of these targets. They are generally very heavily armed Anacondas. I happened across one once and practically as soon as I exited supercruise I had a string of missiles heading straight for me
. High pay on some of these missions but high risk at the same time.

Soon i'll try to kill one of these guys.
I'm building my Cobra with these specs:
Upgraded Power Distributor
Upgraded Power Core
2 fixed Rail guns (primary) - Class D
2 gimballed Multicannons (secondary) - Class D
1 Point Defence Turret
Heat sink Launcher
Shield Bank
CE Bootis offer most of these upgrades, don't know how much it will cost
